Shubman Gill vs CSK in IPL 2026

Shubman Gill seems to be at his imperious best on the field against the CSK in match number 66 of the IPL 2026 season. Shortly after pulling off a sensational run out to get rid of Kartik Sharma, the Gujarat Titans skipper held on to a stunner at midwicket to dismiss a well-set Shivam Dube.

On top of it all, Shubman also shaped a regal 64 from 37 balls against the CSK bowlers earlier in the game as the Titans mounted 229-4 in 20 overs.

A Fiery Send-off

Interestingly, after the catch he took off Rashid Khan to dismiss Shivam Dube, the Titans captain gave a fiery send-off to the outbound CSK batter. During the 11th over of the CSK innings, a raging Shivam Dube slapped Rashid Khan towards his off side in a bid to keep up with the asking rate. The all-rounder ended up mistiming the ball, prompting an agile Shubman Gill to run back and snare a sensational ‘Glenn Phillips-esque catch’.

Mere moments after completing the catch, Gill also ‘hushed’ the Narendra Modi Stadium crowd to give a fiery send-off to the well-set CSK batter.
